Winter sport area Wurmberg Braunlage

Mount Wurmberg, the highest mountain in Lower Saxony, is the largest and most modern winter sport resort in the Harz Mountains and northern Germany. For the winter season 2014/2015 extensive investments in modern snowmaking technology, new slopes and a four-seat chairlift have been done. Here, the winter sport season is extended and a winter holiday in Braunlage is an unforgettable experience.

New winter sport offers on mount Wurmberg at a glance:
• even in not so good conditions snow available using the 100 snow cannons, 8 km alpine slopes, snow-covered toboggan and snow tubing run

• short waiting times thanks to the new four-seat chairlift (total capacity of 1.800 people per hour)
• new slopes for example Hexenritt with higher difficulty level
• artificial snow tubing area on Hexenritt - tube sledging fun for the whole family
