Celebrate the witches festival with us in Braunlage
The highlight of the year! The rendezvous between the witches and the devil - expect diabolic noise and unholy witchcraft. In the evening on 30th April the Harz Mountains are taken over by witches and devils. Things get more spooky, when the witches fly from all over the region to get to the legendary Brocken. On the stroke of midnight all demons and witches will be driven away to make way for spring. All around mount Brocken is this special event celebrated. Come and join in.
Braunlage is celebrating Walpurgis with witches flying above the spa park pond and welcoming the Walpurgis night in Braunlage. Many witches from all over the country pilgrim to Braunlage to enjoy this spectacle. Already in the afternoon witches, demons and mythical creatures will parade through the streets of Braunlage. Hundreds of visitors lining the streets and celebrate the spectacle before all the guests arrive for glittering parties with live music and program in the park.
